Perhaps the simplest thing you can do is to record
television programs and watch them at your convenience on the
go.
Recording television is
easy. Most receivers have two outputs. One is connected to your
television.
If your receiver has two outputs,
simply match colours and connect the audio video cable into the
second
output of your satellite receiver or cable box.
If you only have one output, you will need to remove it
and replace it with the Pocket Cinema
cable.

Place the other end into the AV in
plug on the left side of the unit.
Select the Tool folder from the
main menu.

Select VideoRec.

You will only have to do the bolded part the first
time:
Press the menu button on the right side of the unit to
bring up options.
Press the forward button on the top to select Video
Size. Select 320*240.
If you want to watch on your television
instead of on the player, you may choose 640*480,
but this will use much
more resources on the player.

Select ASF for Video
Format.
Press
the start button to start recording.
Press the X (escape) button to stop
recording.
Press the start button to begin recording again or press the X
button again to return to the main
menu.
It is suggested that you stop and
start the recording after every hour or so to break the recording up into
manageable format .
It will save you a
lot of fast forward and rewind time.
After you have gone through this
setup the first time, to record the next time simply plug the unit into the
receiver, choose VideoRec from the Tool folder and press
play.
